Part 1Using Rai

1Agreement to these terms

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • Who the agreement is between — the reader and the Rai operating entity, by legal name, commercial registration number and registered address.
  • What counts as acceptance: creating an account, publishing a review, or simply reading the site.
  • How these terms sit alongside the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and the Review Guidelines, and which document governs where they conflict.
  • The Arabic and English versions of this document, and which one prevails.

2Who may use Rai

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • Minimum age, and whether a guardian may accept on behalf of a minor.
  • Whether use is limited to the Kingdom, and what applies to a member reading or posting from outside it.
  • One account per person, and the separate route for a dealer, workshop or brand.
  • The grounds on which Rai may refuse, limit or withdraw access.

3Your account

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • What a member provides at registration, and the duty to keep it current.
  • Responsibility for credentials and for everything done under the account.
  • What the verified badges assert — and what they do not.
  • Closing an account, and what happens to reviews already published under it.

Part 2Reviews and your Garage

4Adding a car to your Garage

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • That a Garage entry must describe a car the member actually owns or drives.
  • Accuracy of the details entered — trim, model year, odometer, ownership dates.
  • How many cars a member may hold, and what removing one does to reviews written from it.

5Ownership verification

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • Which documents Rai may ask for: registration, insurance, purchase invoice, service record.
  • How long those documents are kept, who inside Rai may see them, and the cross-reference to the Privacy Policy.
  • What the Verified Owner mark on a review asserts to a reader.
  • The consequence of submitting a document that is not the member’s own.

6Writing a review

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • The first-hand rule: a member reviews a car they have owned or driven, not one they have read about.
  • One review per car per member, and when it may be updated, replaced or withdrawn.
  • That aspect scores are opinion, and how they feed the Rai Brand Score.
  • That a review may not be paid for, traded, or given in exchange for anything of value.

7What you may not publish

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • Abuse, harassment, threats, and hate speech.
  • Anyone’s personal data — staff names, plate numbers, phone numbers, or photographs of people who have not agreed.
  • Statements of fact a member cannot support, and material defamatory of a person, dealer or brand.
  • Advertising, referral links, and content posted for a brand or dealer without saying so.
  • Impersonation, duplicate accounts, and automated posting.

8Moderation, appeals and removal

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • That Rai screens reviews before and after publication, and on what grounds one is held or removed.
  • The notice a member receives, the appeal route, and the time Rai takes to answer it.
  • What repeated breaches lead to, up to suspension.
  • Rai’s right to remove content it is legally obliged to remove, and what it tells the member when it does.

9Rights of reply

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • How a brand, dealer or service centre responds to a review, and that a response is published as a response.
  • The route for a business that believes a review is false, and the evidence it must bring.
  • That Rai rules on whether a review breaks these terms — not on the underlying dispute between member and business.

Part 3Content, data and rights

10Your content and the licence you grant

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • That the member keeps ownership of their words and photographs.
  • The licence Rai needs to host, display, translate, excerpt and syndicate a review, and whether it survives account closure.
  • Attribution: how the member is credited, and what happens if they ask not to be.
  • The member’s warranty that they hold the rights to everything they post.

11Rai’s brand, data and the Brand Score

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • Rai’s marks, page design, icon set and written material.
  • That the Brand Score and the aggregate ratings are Rai’s, and the terms on which a third party may quote them.
  • No scraping, bulk extraction, resale of review data, or automated access without written permission.

12Third-party content and links

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • Manufacturer specifications, photographs and dealer details sourced from third parties, and the limits of Rai’s checks on them.
  • That a link is not an endorsement, and that a third-party site runs on its own terms.

Part 4The service, liability and the law

13Availability and changes to the service

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • That Rai may change, suspend or withdraw features, and when it gives notice first.
  • Planned maintenance, and that access is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted.

14Disclaimers

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • That reviews are members’ personal opinions, published as such, and not Rai’s statements of fact about a vehicle.
  • That nothing on Rai is professional, mechanical, safety, financial or purchase advice.
  • That a reader confirms specification, history and condition independently before buying.

15Limitation of liability

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • The heads of loss excluded, and the cap — drawn to what Saudi law permits.
  • The liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, stated plainly.

16Indemnity

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • When a member covers Rai’s costs — in practice, a claim arising from what they published.
  • How Rai notifies a member of such a claim and who conducts the defence.

17Governing law and disputes

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • The law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the competent court or arbitral forum.
  • Whether a complaint must come to Rai first, and the window for raising one.
  • The language of any proceedings.

18Changes to these terms, and how to reach us

Awaiting counsel. This section sets out:

  • How a change is announced, and when it takes effect.
  • That continued use is acceptance — and that closing the account is the alternative.
  • The notice address and the support channel, alongside the Contact page.
